I find that baby gifts are often the hardest to pick for the uninitiated. I remember trying to wade my way through the bewildering baby items attempting to buy my first baby gift for a friend's baby (this was before I had any of my own) and I was flabbergasted to find the enormity of the task because it was a totally new world to me...I was bereft of ideas or just plain overwhelmed with ideas.
